Introduction to Photo Lab

The Photo Lab is an integrated AI solution developed to remove background for student photos where you can add a background of your choice according to the ID card template. So what’s the best part? It’s all for free. To start using Photo Lab:

1.    Click on the Photo Lab tab in the navigation panel to go to the Photo Lab page.

2.    You can change the background for both students and teachers. Select either of the tabs at the top left

3.    If you have photos uploaded, a list of images will be displayed where you can choose to edit from

4.    You can also change the filter from the top right to All, Edited and Non edited from the top right. The list will be filtered accordingly.

5.    Set up the background first by clicking on Set Backgrounds at the top right corner

6.    A Set Background pop-up will appear to select a colour and click Apply. The selected background will be saved as a default background.

7.    Now you can either edit photos in bulk or can edit them individually.

8.    To edit an individual photo:
      a.    Click on the Edit button of any student or teacher images in the list.

      b.    You will be directed to the image editor to view the original image and edited.

      c.    Click on the Process Image button to change the background. Please wait for some time as it takes time to update the image background.
      d.    You can select any photo from the list of processed images to set them as default profile photos of students, which will be printed on the ID card.

      e.    When done, click on the Photo Lab tab on the navigation panel or click on the cross icon at the top right corner to exit the editor.

9.    To edit photos in bulk:

      a.   Click on the Select All option to select all the visible photos of students, or you can choose manually by clicking on the checkbox of each image.

      b.    After selection, click on the Process Images button and wait for a while to process the images.
